After 49 days of government, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi because of delay in Jan Lokpal bill for Delhi. The AAP presented the bill in Delhi Vidhan Sabha even when LG refuses for presentation of bill. Lokpal Bill was the main topic in AAP manifesto which stated as “Commitment to passing Delhi Jan Lokpal Bill within 15 days of coming to power. All public servants to fall under its purview”. When AAP presented the Bill it ended with fighting and broken mikes. Days before presenting the bill Arvind Kejriwal had announced that if the bill is not passed, he will resign from his post.
When there is few days left in Lok Sabha election, some people are seeing this as a publicity stunt, which will help AAP to gain sympathy and votes. Arvind Kejriwal who told media that he is not interested in fighting election Lok Sabha election will now mostly likely be fighting election. In 49 days of government, AAP always occupied the headline of the newspaper because of some issue.
On one hand, Arvind Kejriwal seems doing good things like auditing electricity and water supply company. Reducing the rate of water and also taking strict action against the Corrupt government officials. On the other, it seems that he is playing politics to gain public support and vote. How much Kejriwal proved himself worth As Delhi Chief Minister? can now only be judged in Lok Sabha election where AAP has to compete against Congress and BJP and where BJP is leading far too ahead.
Delhi has to wait for 6 month or Lok Sabha election(talks are going on the Delhi election can be held with Lok Sabha election) for its new CM. Till then there wil be President’s rule in Delhi because no other party are ready to form government with each other. Hope that Indian Citizen chooses best candidate as our PM and also CM of Delhi.Read More »
