Respect is an essential part of human life. Respecting others is a silent way to express our feeling for them. It’s the sense of worth or personal value that you attach to someone.
Respect is an evaluation you give to someone based on many factors – what that person is doing with their life, how they treat you and others, whether they are honest or not and if they seem to consistently do good things, large or small, for other people.
It is very important to respect one another in any relationship. If respect is missing then distances arise. Respect is reciprocal. If you expect respect from someone then first it has to be given, else don’t even think of it.
When you disrespect another, whoever that may be, it says more about you and your inability to treat another human being as valuable than it says about their values.
So, when you show disrespect for others next time think about yourself and not about the person you are disrespecting.
